Do financial statements feel like a foreign language? Presented by a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) volunteer through CPA Canada’s Financial Literacy Program, this practical introductory workshop demystifies the core reports every business owner needs to understand: the Profit & Loss Statement, the Balance Sheet, and the Cash Flow Statement.
What You’ll Learn:
- Did we make money? How to interpret your Profit & Loss to evaluate operating results over time.
- What is the business worth? Why the Balance Sheet matters and how it tracks assets, liabilities, and owner’s equity.
- Where did the cash go? Demystifying the Cash Flow Statement and why cash in the bank rarely equals reported profit.
- Better Advisory Conversations: How to ask sharp, informed questions when speaking with your accountant, bookkeeper, or banker.
- Leave with the confidence to assess your company’s true financial health and make smarter operational decisions—no accounting background required.
This program is conducted through Zoom. Register to receive a reminder, the evaluation and any resource materials.
