Charlie Holmlund is a singer songwriter from Regina and has been interested in playing music from a young age.
Holmlund uses music as a cathartic way to process difficult past experiences. Holmlund's recently released album, University, features a wide range of ideas and influences. From the gentle, melancholic folk styles of Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers, to the mind-bending production and vocals of Frank Ocean and Bon Iver. University is a whirlpool of unique sounds and emotions.
Central Library, the largest of the nine Branches in the Regina Public Library system, is a social and informational hub in the heart of downtown Regina. The Library maintains an extensive calendar of programs, training opportunities, art exhibits in the Dunlop Art Gallery, along with film screenings in the Library's very own repertory film theatre!
