Beading Circle – Beaded Dentalium Round Earrings

Join beadwork artist, Katelyn, to learn how to bead dentalium round earrings. Open to everyone, from beginners to experienced beaders.

Program Dates: This program series runs on Wednesdays from April 8 to April 29th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Please plan to attend all sessions. This program is open to everyone, regardless of skill level, for beading.

Materials Provided: Pick up your beading kit at the Central Branch, 2311-12th Ave. Kits will be available for pick up between March 30 and April 6th during library open hours. One kit per registered customer.  Beading kits not picked up by April 7th will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

Presenter Information: Katelyn is an Indigenous artist from Treaty 4. She grew up in a powwow family and has been beading since the age of thirteen. Katelyn is the owner of a small business specializing in high-end, personalized Indigenous corporate gifts and accessories for companies and organizations across Canada. Katelyn also specializes in facilitating and providing cultural arts workshops for various organizations. She is passionate about sharing her talents and enjoys passing on her knowledge to others in the hope that they will do the same.
