Kind to Grade 2. In Indigenous cultures, oral storytelling is a traditional method of sharing knowledge from generation to generation. Experience some Indigenous stories together with Sharon Meyer.

This program is being presented by Regina Public Library, in partnership with Regina Public Schools and Regina Catholic Schools to celebrate Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month.

The program will be conducted through Zoom. At least one hour prior to the program, we will send you an email with the Zoom meeting ID. Sharon Meyer is a treaty status member of Treaty Six, Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree First Nation.  She enjoys sharing her knowledge and teachings regarding personal childhood, adult, and cultural experiences.  Sharon is a medicine wheel knowledge keeper and a storyteller.  She is also a Blanket Exercise facilitator.  For thirty-two years Sharon served in various roles in the field of education: classroom teacher, principal, and administrator in the provincial and federal education system.  She has also served as a First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Education consultant for the North East School Division.  Sharon is a representative for the Office of the Treaty Commissioner Speakers Bureau.
