You have the option to participate in this program either in-person at the Central Library Film Theatre or online through Zoom.

Audience: Armchair programs are designed with seniors in mind, but anyone who is interested is welcome to join!

Dates: Armchair programs run Mondays, September 11 - November 27 from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM. We encourage you to join us in all the sessions.

Come experience a part of Canada with Elisa as she shares with you about the history, culture, attractions, food, and much more. Follow her on this journey where she showcases her adventures through her eyes as she travels to British Columbia (Kelowna, Richmond, Vancouver, & Vancouver Island) and Québec (Montréal, Québec City, & Trois Rivières). Picking cherries at Twin Oaks Organic Orchard in Kelowna enjoying the spectacular views at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver to eating poutine in Montréal, come travel with Elisa!

Presenter Information:  Elisa Wong, born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Elisa has always had a passion for traveling, exploring, and wandering. Whether it’s a road trip to Canada or flying abroad to a new country, she enjoys it all! She’s been to places such as British Columbia, Quebec, New York, California, Taiwan, Malaysia, France, Rome, and many more. She’s constantly thinking about traveling and is eager for her next adventure!

About the branch

Central Library, the largest of the nine Branches in the Regina Public Library system, is a social and informational hub in the heart of downtown Regina. The Library maintains an extensive calendar of programs, training opportunities, art exhibits in the Dunlop Art Gallery, along with film screenings in the Library's very own repertory film theatre!
