This RQHR program helps older adults become more physically active. It includes endurance, strength, balance and flexibility activities which may be performed either in sitting or standing positions.
This is an in-person, drop-in program. No registration required.
Dates: Program runs Thursday afternoons at George Bothwell Library. There are sessions that run from 1:00 - 2:00 PM and from 2:15 - 3:15 PM.
Equipment Required: Exercise bands, 2-5lb dumbbells and handballs. If you do not have dumbbells bring two cans of soup or 500ml water bottles. Handballs can be purchased from most dollar stores.
