Join us every week for a drop-in beading session. You'll have the opportunity to learn from talented instructors, get inspired, and connect with fellow beaders. Supplies and refreshments provided.
The program will take place in the Community Commons on the main floor of Central library, except for June 29th and July 27th, when it will take place in another programming room (CE-1).
Instructors will each lead five sessions and will teach one or two projects throughout these sessions. Participants are welcome to bring their own unfinished projects and work alongside the beading circle or ask for guidance and assistance from the instructor.
July 27 - August 24: Flat Stitch Métis Floral Pin with Metis beadwork artist, Dani LaValley
This program is about learning and appreciating the art of Metis beadwork and is open to all participants regardless of Métis identity. We proudly welcome everyone to attend these beading circles.
RPL wishes to acknowledge that funding for this series is provided by Sask Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation, and through a partnership with Gabriel Dumont Institute.
