In partnership with Conseil culturel fransaskois

La Moisson is a cultural mediation and indigenization project based on contemporary art from the Plains, produced by artists from Saskatchewan. Led by Mackenzy Vida, the La Moisson workshop is inspired by the piece “Lis restes”, a paper and cardboard quilt collage by Métis artist Marjorie Beaucage.

During this workshop, participants will explore different artistic techniques inspired by water to create a paper quilt that tells the story of a particular geographical location in Saskatchewan.
