Join the Regina Native Outreach Ministry (RNOM) to knit baby blankets and enjoy conversation about how to support new mothers and our journeys together. We will begin our time together with a smudge.
In partnership with the Regina Native Outreach Ministry.
RNOM coordinates a project to provide Mother and Baby Welcome Bags for Indigenous moms giving birth at Regina General. The bags contain a selection of new baby essentials, gifts for moms… and hand knitted baby blankets! The Knitting Circle is a time of community to knit the baby blankets. You are welcomed to bring your own knitting supplies or we can provide yarn, needles and patterns. If you crochet, you are welcomed as well, however the facilitator does not know how to crochet.
Join with us and help meet RNOM's goal of assembling 100 Mother and Baby Welcome Bags in 2023. Donations of yarn are accepted.
