Make a Gelatin Printing Plate -
Ingredients: 7 packages knox unflavoured gelatin, 12 oz (1 1/2 Cups) Glycerin, 1 1/2 cups boiling water, 9x9 or 8x10 nonstick pan, food colouring (optional)
Instructions: Place the Glycerin in a bowl, stir in gelatin powder. Add 1 1/2 cups boiling water, and stir well. Microwave for 2 minutes, continue to stir and microwave in 30 second intervals until gelatin is dissolved (add food colouring if desired). Pour into pan, remove any foam or bubbles with a spoon (you can come back and skim the top a few times for the first few hours), and leave on counter to solidify overnight (do not place in fridge). Once set, you may need to use a knife to loosen the edges. Gently remove from pan.
