This program is offered in partnership with Birds Canada. RPL has partnered with Birds Canada to bring you birding backpacks! Bird watching is a fun, year-round pastime that you can do on your own, or with family and friends. Regina offers great natural habitats; start exploring today with one of our birding backpacks. To learn more and borrow a birding backpack click here.

Interested in birding? We have another program called Birding by Ear With the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, May 17, 7:00 PM-8:30 PM. For more information click here

Presenter Information: LeeAnn Latremouille grew up in Montreal and fell in love with the prairies during a summer work stint in 2012. A life-long passion for nature has led to a rewarding career in wildlife biology and citizen science engagement, and she is presently the coordinator for the Saskatchewan Breeding Bird Atlas at Birds Canada in Saskatoon. LeeAnn hopes her enthusiasm for birds and nature will inspire others to learn about and appreciate birds and the habitats they depend on. For more information, please visit the Birds Canada website.
