Join plant loving fiber artist and author, Alex Stratkotter of Florals & Floss she as guides you through the ins and outs of embroidery as a craft and hobby. This workshop is appropriate for beginners and those looking for a place to start exploring embroidery. During the hour long class you'll be given everything you need to stitch a work of art and learn all the skills necessary to do so.
Materials: You'll need scissors of any kind. All other materials will be provided for registrants. Pick up your embroidery kit at the Central Branch, 2311-12th Ave. Kits will be available for pickup between March 6-15 during library open hours. One kit per registered customer.
Presenter Bio: Alexandra Stratkotter (she/her) is a self-taught fiber artist and the creative mind behind Florals & Floss and author of The Embroidered Closet. She lives in Alberta, Canada with her husband, kids and two cats.
