Grades 6 to 8. In Indigenous cultures, oral storytelling is a traditional method of sharing knowledge from generation to generation. Experience some Indigenous stories together with Stacey Fayant.
This program is being presented by Regina Public Library, in partnership with Regina Public Schools and Regina Catholic Schools to celebrate Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month.

Stacey Fayant is a Métis, Nehiyaw, Saulteaux and French visual artist from Regina. Her art practice focuses on concepts surrounding identity and trauma in relation to colonialism and racism, but also in relation to healing, love and care, family, and community. She works in many mediums and is an Indigenous Cultural Tattoo Artist involved in the revitalization of Indigenous Tattooing here on Turtle Island. For Stacey, tattoo is a means of revitalizing visiting, self-care, love and healthy touch in community.
