Join us at Frost Regina for the stories of four important Métis leaders from SUNTEP Regina students with puppets.
Part of RPL’s Stories programming series.
This event will take place in the large, heated tent in Victoria Park as part of Frost @Downtown! If the weather is below -20 C, the event will be moved inside to the Film Theatre.
The library is a storytelling hub. From book clubs to writing circles, from family storytimes to Indigenous storytellers sharing personal and traditional oral histories as part of Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month and Frost Regina, RPL is here to help you immerse yourself in story. Let your imagination run wild! Explore Story programs here.
Participants will learn about well known historical figures such as Louis Riel and Gabriel Dumont in addition to contemporary leaders such as Metis dance expert, Jean Pelletier, and Indigenous rights lawyer, Jean Teillet.
