Beat the winter 'blahs' and challenge yourself to see the world in different hues, shapes and textures, using works of art as inspiration. No art experience required! Designed for groups aged 65+.

Part of RPL’s Older Adult & Try Something New programming series.

An interactive way to exercise your cognitive skills, learn about brain health, and have some fun along the way! Recommend to join for all 4 classes to build on your knowledge each week. 

Date Range: Program runs Mondays, January 9, 16, 23, 30, 2:00-3:00pm. Plan to attend all sessions. 

This is a hybrid program which meets in-person at CE-1 located at Central Library and online through Zoom.

Presenter Information: Catherine Livingstone (CDCP) has a Masters in 18th-Century History from the University of York in the UK, and has worked as a museum and gallery curator across Canada. She is a Certified TimeSlips™ Facilitator, and a frequent presenter of cognitive engagement programs for older adults and intergenerational groups. She works with families and organizations across Canada & the US to support groups from all walks of life through purposeful and meaningful engagement, with a focus on neuro-aesthetics and reminiscing programming. She is currently working with institutions such as Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Alberta Health Services, and the United Church of Canada through professional training, research initiatives, and a focus on Elder-inclusive community development programming.
