Program Details:

Navigating the job market can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Join our One-to-One Career Coaching Program and connect with a mentor dedicated to your unique journey.

We support a wide range of job seekers, including:

  • Newcomers to Canada: From engineers, finance, IT, and healthcare professionals navigating accreditation to those seeking immediate “survival job” opportunities.
  • Students & Recent Graduates: High school students exploring career paths and summer jobs, as well as new graduates working to bridge the gap between school and their first professional role.
  • Returning Workers: Parents re-entering the workforce after an employment gap and older adults looking to “un-retire” while rebuilding confidence and skills.
  • Career Changers: Individuals facing outdated skills or shifting away from careers that no longer fit the Saskatchewan market, including newcomers pivoting into new fields, seeking re-skilling and training guidance.
  • Career Advancement Seekers: Professionals pursuing promotions, leadership opportunities, or strategic entry into government and Crown Corporation roles.

Your coach provides a safe, encouraging space to translate your past experience into future opportunities. We combine practical advice on career planning with hands-on help for resume writing, cover letters, interview practice, and navigating workplace culture.

Let us help you build the confidence and connections you need to succeed. Your next chapter starts here.

  • Individual Sessions: 45 minutes
  • Location: Room CE-2, 2nd floor, Central Library (2311 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 0N3)
  • Available Times: 1:30 PM or 2:15 PM (you will receive a confirmation email with your exact appointment time by Monday)

To help us tailor the coaching to your specific goals, please email the following documents to Tim at txie@reginalibrary.ca prior to your appointment:

  • Your current resume and cover letter
  • Any specific job descriptions you are interested in
  • Note: Your personal information is kept strictly confidential.

Cancellations: If you need to reschedule, please contact Tim by phone or email at least 4 hours in advance to allow another job seeker to use the spot.

Important Reminders:

Direct Contact: Please email Tim directly. Do not reply to the automated notification after you register.
Booking Policy: To ensure fair access for everyone in our community, please register for only one session at a time.
