This program is open to everyone of all skill levels for beading.

Registration is required. This program is conducted through Zoom. Register to receive a reminder, the evaluation and any other resources.

Material Provided 

  • Pick up your beading kit at the Central Branch, 2311-12th Ave between October 27 and November 2.  One kit per registered customer. 
  • Any beading kits not picked by November 3 will be given to the first person on the waitlist.

About the Instructor:

Katelyn Ironstar is an Indigenous artist from Treaty 4.  She grew up in a powwow family and has been beading since the age of thirteen.  Katelyn is the owner of a small business that specializes in providing high-end, personalized Indigenous corporate gifts and accessories to companies and organizations Canada wide.  Katelyn also specializes in facilitation and providing cultural arts workshops for various organizations.  She is passionate about sharing her talents and enjoys passing on her knowledge to others in the hope that they will do the same.
