Make art with Métis artist Leah Dorion

Leah Dorion will read from her popular spring book, "Métis and Dandelions," to celebrate the first flowers of spring. She will lead some directed drawing from her books such as "Relatives with Roots," so bring your paper and pencil and learn about Métis culture.
Great for school groups.

Leah Marie Dorion is an artist, teacher, filmmaker and writer from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Dorion holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Arts from Athabasca University. Dorion is also a published author of books about Métis history, cultural teachings and storytelling.
