Join us for a special Art and Storytelling workshop with Indigenous Storyteller-in-Residence, Rhonda Donais. Great for children, teens, and families, and all abilities. All ages welcome.
Explore the "Of A Place" exhibition at Dunlop Art Gallery, learn about the diverse experiences of people living on Treaty 4 Territory, and reflect upon our own relationship with place. Rhonda will share a personal family tradition story, Flower Day. Afterwards, create an accordion book artwork using mixed media techniques to illustrate your own story about a special place.

Rhonda Donais lives in Regina and is a member of Ocean Man First Nation. She has been a performer and storyteller for over 30 years. Although she enjoys telling silly and scary stories, her favourite stories are the First Nations' animal legends and Algonquian songs she teaches. Rhonda likes to incorporate drum playing into her storytelling and she's very passionate about her art.
