About the Moderator:

Mattea Roach is the host of Bookends, an author interview show airing on CBC Radio and major podcasting platforms. They previously hosted The Backbench, a federal politics panel show, for Canadaland. Prior to becoming a journalist, Mattea appeared on the game show Jeopardy!, winning 23 consecutive games at age 23 and becoming the most successful Canadian contestant to ever appear on the program.

About the Panel:

Sam Maciag is the host and producer of the CBC Saskatchewan News at 6, and currently filling in as host of CBC Radio One's Blue Sky, and the This Is Saskatchewan Podcast.  Previously a Regina radio morning show host, news anchor, newspaper reporter, web editor, photographer and technical producer, Sam has nearly two decades of experience in the industry.

Jeremy Simes is a reporter with The Canadian Press in Regina. His coverage includes politics, crime and telling unique stories from Saskatchewan to the rest of Canada. The Canadian Press is a national news agency whose clients also include local media outlets, providing content that’s unbiased, driven by truth, accuracy and timelines.
