Create a 3D beaded bow tie—a modern twist on a classic accessory! Open to all skill levels, these fun session blends crafting, laughter, and storytelling for a creative, engaging experience.
Program Dates: This program series runs on Wednesdays from January 15 to February 19 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Please plan to attend all sessions. This program is open to everyone of all skill levels for beading.
Registration: Registration opens on December 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
Materials Provided: Pick up your beading kit at the Central Branch, 2311-12th Ave. Kits will be available for pickup between January 8 -13 during library open hours. One kit per registered customer. After the deadline, any remaining kits will be distributed to individuals on the waiting list. We will update the waiting list of registered customers on April 14th, in case there are any unclaimed kits available.

Presenter Information: Katelyn is an Indigenous artist from Treaty 4. She grew up in a powwow family and has been beading since the age of thirteen. Katelyn is the owner of a small business that specializes in providing high-end, personalized Indigenous corporate gifts and accessories to companies and organizations Canada-wide. Katelyn also specializes in facilitating and providing cultural arts workshops for various organizations. She is passionate about sharing her talents and enjoys passing on her knowledge to others in the hope that they will do the same.
