Ages 13 and over. Have fun using repetitive drumming and movement to learn how to relax your mind and body. Hand drums supplied and presented by Joanne Crofford from Boomtown Drums.

This program combines mindfulness practices with drumming exercises, including guided discussions and reflection sessions. To ensure full engagement and minimize distractions, participants will be encouraged to avoid using their phones during the program. The repetitive drumming is designed to help students relax both mind and body, providing valuable techniques for managing stress, especially around exam time.
Presenter Information: Join Joanne Crofford, a respected educator and festival performer. Experienced in Arts Education, World Drum, and Mindfulness benefits of drumming, including Traditional African and Latin roots of rhythm. Owner of Boomtown Drums and teaching studio.

Regina Public Library opened its first shopping mall location as what was then known as Regent Park Branch in 1966.
Since 1995, Regent Place Branch called 107 Albert Street home, and provided the community with a full-service Library Branch.
In February 2012, the Branch moved into a temporary location in the Regina Market Mall, while a new Regent Place Branch was being designed and built.
