January 25- Learn some song writing basics. Delve into a quick history of Music, Investigate Genres, look at Lyrical Composition and touch on the mechanics of Musical Logistics.
February 22- Explore song writing further. Find the Chords, find the Melodies, look deeper into Vocals, and applying your lyrics to music, learn about Chord Structure and Key Signature

Presenter information: Jesse Pelletier or “Awaken Aries” is a born and raised Regina resident from the Star Blanket First Nations Reserve. He has been writing and producing songs since 2009. His debut album “The Extraordinaries Anthology: Vol 1” (Produced by Jared Robinson of Nebulus Entertainment in Moose Jaw) was nominated for Best Pop Album at the 2017 Indigenous Music Awards in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Recently he released a new Single, “Dear Saleen (Radio Edit)” (Produced by Walt Jeworski at Blue Door Recording in Regina), as well as a large selection of demos in a compilation album titled “Pandora Demos.” Prepare or practice your songwriting skills with his album “Pandora Instrumentals.”
