Learn more about Kamal Kadai Stich: Kamal Kadai Stitch, also known as Lotus Stitch or Star Stitch, is a traditional Indian embroidery technique characterized by its intricate floral patterns resembling lotus flowers. Originating from the regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan, this stitch is commonly used to embellish garments, textiles, and home decor items. The stitch involves creating small star-shaped motifs using basic hand embroidery techniques such as running stitch, chain stitch, and satin stitch. Kamal Kadai stitch adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to various fabric surfaces, making it a popular choice for creating stunning embroidery designs with rich cultural heritage.
