Zoom 1

November is National Novel Writing Month- NaNoWriMo! Join RPL Writer in Residence, Pam Bustin for a working session to explore ways to write your novel and maximize your time in NaNo writing land.

This program is part of RPL's NaNoWriMo programming focus area

This program is conducted through Zoom. Register to receive a reminder, the evaluation and any other resources. Click the link to join: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87862168951

Learn to create an outline for your story if you should choose, the glories of PANTSING (sitting down and writing by the seat of your pants) and other tips, tricks and resources.

Don’t forget that our Tuesday evening Weekly Writing Circle is a great place to gather with other writers and get some writing time in all through November. https://www.reginalibrary.ca/attend/programs/7149479

Writer in Residence
Pam Bustin is a writer, performer, story-tender, and the award-winning author of the novel Mostly Happy, the stage plays Saddles in the Rain, The Passage of Georgia O’Keefe and barefoot, and the CBC Radio dramas Coffee in Lloyd, The White Car Project, and Talking with the Dead. She was born in Regina and raised in a host of small towns across the prairies. For the last ten years, she’s lived mostly in Chapleau Ontario with a lovely man and 10,001 books.

She served as the Saskatoon Programs coordinator for the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild and sat on the board and dramaturgical committee of the Saskatchewan Playwrights’ Centre. She has sorely missed the comradery and depth of talent in the Saskatchewan writing community and is thrilled to be returning to Regina and to one of her favourite libraries to serve as Writer in Residence.

Whether you yearn to take the first step towards developing a writing practice, are starting a new story, or find yourself lost in the woods with a book that you fear you will never finish, Pam would love to accompany you for a time on your journey. Reach out to Pam at wir@reginalibrary.ca
