Ages 6 to 12. Learn basic effects of static electricity as you experiment with simple supplies to activate a static electricity butterfly.

This program is conducted through Zoom online so please ensure that you have zoom installed on your device or computer. We will send you zoom link through email prior to one hour before. If you don't have a library card, please visit https://www.reginalibrary.ca/register for card registration.

You'll need the following supplies:

  • Cardboard Square - Medium Size Piece
  • Tissue paper
  • Cardstock paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes (optional or a marker can be used)
  • Balloon
  • Glue stick
