In this session, you will learn step by step how to make the classic recipe of borscht. Borscht is an important dish of cultural heritage in Ukrainian culture. This meal represents generations of Ukrainian families connecting around the kitchen, cooking together, and strengthening family ties. Recipes vary from region to region, family to family, and are passed down from one generation to another and tweaked each time. Join us to learn about Ukrainian culture and cuisine.
Presenter Bio: Yelizaveta Kovalska is a newcomer from Ukraine. She just recently came to Canada for safety reasons. Yelizaveta is originally from a small city in a central part of Ukraine. Her family consists of her mother, father, and their little Pomeranian dog, who looks like a little fox. Yelizaveta finds her mom the best cook since she was little. They always cooked together.
