Ages 6 to12. Have fun learning about coding as you play various offline games using a pencil and paper. No coding experience or secondary devices are required.
This session will include two games:
Robot Maze: We will create written instructions to guide a robot through a maze. This teaches how programs can only follow the instructions written in their code. Get an instruction wrong, and your "program" malfunctions!
You'll need the following supplies:
Monster Coding Art Project: We will create a monster picture using only the "commands" we receive from our "program" (rolling the dice).

This program is conducted through Zoom. One hour prior to the program, we will send you an email with the Zoom meeting ID. Please ensure that you have Zoom installed on your device or computer. If you don't have a library card, please visit https://www.reginalibrary.ca/register to register for one.
