Cold Wax Medium and Oil Paint Workshop

Discover the possibilities of painting with a new medium. Create layers of translucent and blended colours and make works on paper based on an abstract theme. Led by artist Gerri Ann Siwek.

Pick up materials at Dunlop Art Gallery, Central Library after May 3.

You may join from any location with the following materials.

• Plastic or aluminum pie plate with cover 
• Oil paints (white, yellow, red and blue) (could be arranged on plate as a palette)
• Small container of Cold Wax Medium 
• Plastic Palette Knife
• Small 1/4 " Flat Paint Brush
• 8"x10" Water color paper taped on cardboard

Participants should also have on hand:

• Paper Towels
• Plastic Table Covering
• Some cooking oil and dish detergent for clean-up
• Additional card stock paper or small collages or paintings to experiment on
