Kinetic Sculptures

Ages 6 to 12. Learn to create a kinetic sculpture or 3D mobile inspired by Henri Matisse. Explore line, balance, and form while you create your own masterpiece.

You'll need the following supplies:

• 2-3 sticks, twigs or wooden dowels - approximately 30 cm in length and not too heavy or too light
• string - approximately 3 m in length
• scissors 
• glue stick
• 10 sheets of thick coloured paper - construction paper, cardstock or white paper coloured with markers or crayons
• 5-6 straws or toilet paper rolls
• pencil

This program is conducted through Zoom. One hour prior to the program, we will send you an email with the Zoom meeting ID. Please ensure that you have Zoom installed on your device or computer.
