Founded in 2014, Rebellion Brewing is creating tasty craft beer featuring local ingredients in Regina’s Warehouse District. Its signature beers range from the easy-drinking lentil and tasty fruited sours to aggressive, flavourful IPAs and tropical, hazy beers. The brewery’s brand is a blend of punk-rock DIY ethic with an aim to get people excited about all the possibilities of beer.
Born in Regina, Saskatchewan – Mark Heise started as a home brewer, winning multiple awards and medals for his beers. He also earned his Beer Judge Certification with the BJCP, and his Cicerone (the beer equivalent of sommelier) and has spent years teaching people how to become beer judges. His beer knowledge is unparalleled in the Sask. scene. When he isn’t thinking about beer, he’s perfecting his brisket game or performing with his rock band.
