Ages 6 to 12. Learn about the artist Wassily Kandinsky and his famous study of color, Squares with Concentric Circles. Create your own work of art inspired by this piece.
You'll need the following supplies:
• favourite colouring tools - coloured pencils, markers or watercolour paint with paintbrush
• pencil
• eraser
• ruler
• cup, small jar lid, and a quarter or any 3 objects you can use to draw 3 sizes of circles with no circle being larger than 5 inches in diameter
• 2 large sheets of paper (approximately 11x17 inches) or tape smaller sheets of paper together to create large sizes
This program is conducted through Zoom.
One hour prior to the program, we will send you an email with the Zoom meeting ID. Please ensure that you have Zoom installed on your device or computer. If you don’t have a library card, please visit https://www.reginalibrary.ca/register
