Learn about the first Indigenous led comic book called Marvel's Voices: Indigenous Voices from some of its Indigenous artists.

In celebration of Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month, the Library is hosting Indigenous storytelling programs demonstrating its many forms, through art, films, books, puppets, oral, and graphic novels.

We are thrilled to have Jeffrey Veregge, one of the writers/artist/creators with Marvel’s Indigenous Voices #1, present on this first Indigenous led comic book.

Jeffrey Veregge is an award-winning Native American Artist & Writer from the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe near Kingston, Washington. He is best known for his use of form-line design with pop culture inspiration which his fans dub "Salish Geek". He has over 100 comic book covers working for Marvel, IDW, Valiant, Dynamite, Boom! & Darkhorse Comics.

The program is moderated by Chris Ross, with RezXmag.com.
