Ages 6 to 12. Conduct fun Valentine-themed science activities involving dancing hearts, love potions, dissolving candy, and secret messages. Try the experiments yourself or take notes for future fun.
You’ll need the following supplies: water, Skittles or M&Ms, conversation hearts candy, baking soda, vinegar, cherry juice, lemon or lime, measuring spoons/cups, Q-tips, white paper, white plate, two tall glasses (clear).
This program is conducted through Zoom. One hour prior to the program, we will send you an email with the Zoom meeting ID. Please ensure that you have Zoom installed on your device or computer. If you don't have a library card, please visit https://www.reginalibrary.ca/register to register for one.
