Debbie Pushor is back! This time, she’ll be talking about slowing down, getting outside and enjoying winter activities that also contribute to learning goals.

Join us on Zoom here: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85108835995

This presentation will focus on engaging your kids in outdoor learning over the winter, and how to make the most of your time. While it can be easy to focus on things we can’t do right now, she’ll be talking about things we can do: more family time, more conversations, more opportunities to connect with your child. She’ll talk about having fun with your child while incorporating learning into your everyday activities. You’ll learn about the many ways you are supporting your child’s learning and increase your confidence in supporting them as you enjoy time with them over the winter.

Debbie Pushor, PhD, is a mother of three adult sons, Cohen, Quinn, and Teague, and a former public school teacher, consultant, principal and central services administrator. She currently works as a Professor in the Department of Curriculum Studies at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.

Debbie has published two books, Portals of Promise: Transforming Beliefs and Practices through a Curriculum of Parents (Sense Publishers, 2013) and Living as Mapmakers: Charting a Course with Children Guided by Parent Knowledge (Sense Publishers, 2015). She has also published numerous articles and book chapters, and has co-edited a book on teacher education.

For more information about Debbie’s research, teaching, and other activities, visit her website at www.debbiepushor.ca.
