Ages 6 to 12. Learn how to make a variety of animal creations using traditional Japanese paper folding techniques. Create a puppy, fox, pig, and elephant.
You'll need several pieces of square paper for this program. You can cut regular 8 1/2 x 11 sheets into squares or use origami paper. You'll also need your favourite colouring tools (e.g. markers, pencil crayons, crayons) for this activity. Additional items like googly eyes, pipe cleaners or pompoms can be used to decorate your paper creations.
