Ages 16 and over. Learn how to make your very own ceramic mug using "pinch pot" and "slab-building" techniques. All materials supplied. Plan to attend both sessions.
August 17th - Participants will learn how to use slabs of clay to construct a handmade mug. The "pinching" technique will be used to further refine the shape before the mugs are slipped and handles are applied.
August 24th - Learn the drawing technique of Scraffitto and use it to affect the surface of your mug.
