About the Partners
The Regina Humane Society is a holistic animal community centre integrating animal services, community outreach and education programming which ensures the health, safety and well-being for Regina’s people and animals. Each year, the Society accepts over 4,200 animals providing lost and found services, housing and care, veterinary hospital treatment and rehabilitation, animal behaviour training and adoption programs. The Society also supports humane communities through engagement strategies and outreach programs, including youth humane education, violence prevention, bite safety, pet-assisted therapy, spay, neuter, microchip and pet wellness services to at-risk communities.
Canadian Western Agribition is filled with many family-friendly activities! Agribition will connect you with your favourite farm animals and teach you about agriculture, including where your food comes from! There are many activities to get involved in at Agribition including face painting, riding a sheep, Indigenous dancing, watching a chick hatch, and enjoying entertainment such as the rodeo. Keep an eye out for Agribition at city events this coming year to get a little taste of Agribition.
George Bothwell Branch first opened its doors to the public in 1995, and operates as a full-service branch within the Regina Public Library system.
